Etna Wine Trail

The vines grow on Etna sandy soils of volcanic origin, rich in texture. This wine-growing district was also known to the civilizations of the past, considering the ancient origins of viticulture in the area.

Etna was the first designation of origin to obtain the recognition of the denomination of origin, the DOC Etna, in 1968.
