Tenuta Caretta Description

Tenuta Carretta, historical winery in Piobesi d'Alba, has recently opened a large tasting room, that joins the traditional Piedmontese cuisine restaurant and the hotel. The entire estate, surrounded by vineyards, is open to the public for visits and tastings, as well as pri-vate events and festivals. The history of the Carretta dates back to Medieval times, when a small portion of vineyards was al-ready existing. The revival of the estate occurred in 1985, when Miroglio family bought it to engage in the production of high quality wines, in respect of the traditions but with an attentive look at the technical innovation. The estate is open to anyone who wants to spend an enjoyable day in the Roero countryside and dis-cover the secrets of the grapes and the wine.
